Example- pencil.... the medium of the pencil is the graphite inside.

Why is value so important in art?
Value in art is so important because it shows lightness, darkness and shapes of objects.
Geometric vs. Organic Shapes and lines Geometric- are made using tools, and are symmetrical
Organic- shapes that are flowing and non-symmetrical
Define and provide visual examples of real and implied lines...
Real lines are a connected and continuous Implied lines can be continuous but not solid or connected
What do we mean by elements in art? The elements in art are, Line, Shape, Form, Value, Texture and Space. these elements are what make up art and with out them there would be nothing.

For my geometric and organic art I choose to do and elegant organic side and a sharp and straight geometric side. It shows how the geometric side is all man made and precise with straight line, while the organic side is the opposite.
